What you can expect from this course:
We will provide-
Provided course material will discuss and follow State of Florida Rule 65G-7. During this course we will:
- Discuss the consumers rights
- Demonstrate preparation, administration and documentation of medications
- Discuss limitations of the medications and assistance the provider may offer
- Discuss intended effects and side effects of medications and how to respond to life-threatening allergic reactions
- Discuss proper supervision of self-administration of medication
- Discuss Florida Chapter 65G-7
Upon successful completion as outlined above, the participant will be eligible to complete the hands on participation validation. It is the participant’s responsibility to maintain the certificate and ongoing, yearly validations.
Demonstrate preparation, administration and documentation of medication with 100% accuracy. Validation consists of actual administration of medications. This occurs in addition to this classroom experience and requires a separate fee. Validation is not included in this course.

Per course - up to 8 people
This is a 6 hour course offering. The Medication Administration training class includes up to 8 people, and is held at the location of your choice.
Additional Staff
$90
Per additional person
This cost is for additional staff above the 8 people included in the class price.
